If your computers are "locked down" so that web components cannot be installed, we have two solutions. To begin with, your network or computer administrator will have to login the computer with administrative rights. If you are not familiar with what that means, please contact your computer administrator.
Please note that this applies only to the BookingBuilder Web components, which are used on supplier web sites. If you are using BookingBuilder Desktop, the components are automatically installed with BookingBuilder Desktop. This will only apply if you need to update the components and not the BookingBuilder Desktop software.
Once the computer is logged in with administrative rights, the two options are:
- Click the link above to install the latest version of the BookingBuilder Web Components, or click here for the same link. This will bring you to a page that will install the components. However, you may have a firewall that blocks file downloads, in which case the next option will help.
- We have a stand-alone installer that will install the required components. This installer can be run from our web site, or copied to a CD or network drive and installed from there. Download and run ComponentSetup.EXE. If would like to copy it to a CD and have it automatically run when the CD is put into the computer, copy ComponentSetup.EXE to the root of the CD, and then create a another file in the root called "autorun.inf". Autorun.inf should contain these two lines:
[autorun]
open=ComponentSetup.EXE
