- BookingBuilder BOOST/Supplier Preferencing is now available for Alpha testing. BOOST allows “Supplier related desktop messages” to be displayed to a travel agent while they are in the process of booking travel for a customer. The BookingBuilder Agency Supplier Preferencing project is an effort to develop a new product that will allow agencies to create and customize Supplier related desktop messages (and message “triggers”) so that when these real-time messages are displayed they are relevant to the specific travel plans the agent is booking in that moment. Generally these messages will indicate to the travel agent which suppliers (typically airlines, cars, or hotels) the agency management prefers them to book in each booking situation and can be managed from the Admin site.
- With the advent of BB BOOST, users of BB Desktop 435 will be introduced to a new look and feel for the software with the implementation of an updated “Default” theme displaying our newest branding and color scheme for improved visibility. Also added is a new theme called “Classic” which displays the former Default theme used in prior 400 builds
- Added an new Genie event called “Actions Only” designed to be exclusively used in cases where the actions are fired from “Fire Actions from Named Prompt” type cases and who’s conditions will never be evaluated
- Enhanced the ‘Read GDS Itinerary’ functionality to now report variables for the entire itinerary from the GDS/work area. It also reads hotel and car segments in addition to air
- Added a Reset Window Sizes/Positions button to the Setting tab of the Configuration form that allows for live change of position
- Added multiple passenger payment processing to VPP
- The Amadeus SmartScript Bridge will now also be installed with 435
